All my courses and lessons are characterized by a classical relation to the horse and I use, among other things, Centered Riding® techniques. I have students in many different levels and in many disciplines: jumping, dressage, gaited horses, long reins etc.
My students range from competitive riders in dressage and jumping to beginners who are just going to spend time with their horse in the woods. I have taught in numerous riding centers, riding schools, colleges, for physical therapists and other organizations.
I teach in Norwegian and English and travel around both within and outside Norway.
If you want to arrange a clinic you can contact me by mail.
The horse’s welfare is our responsibility.
Being a rider is to be a good partner in the interaction with the horse that mostly uses body language. They are listening, present and honest. Being a rider is practicing to move as well as you want the horse to move, to know when to give a signal about what you want and know what to feel for. Last but not least, the rider’s job is to be a good teacher, motivating and trust worthy.
Horse welfare is not just about feeding, stable environment, transportation and buying and selling, but also about training.
This is what I value when I teach. |
